Inspired by the abundance of wild lavender on the hillsides, Sweet Dreams is my depiction of lavender fields. A soft purple haze and twisted tendrils of crooked stalks. The sky is painted in off white tones and glimmers of gold. Expressionist dripped paint suggests nature and its move toward chaos whilst the delicate lavender flowers bring focus
