Augelite with Quartz and Jamesonite(?) amber Very showy and desirable forA good representative Augelite specimen from Machacamarca featuring many sharp, lustrous, translucent monoclinic crystals with Quartz on matrix. Some of the Augelites are very good sized for the locality and, along with the Quartz crystals, are included with an unknown black mineral (possibly Jamesonite). The two tone effect created from the inclusions makes for an eye catching piece as a lot of the specimens from this mine are not terribly colorful.
