Extra Large Burmese Lacquer Tiffin Box - Ca 1910 Screens success and the fine artsThis is an excellent and unusually large example of a Burmese lacquer tiffin box. These boxes were multifunctional and used both as tiffin boxes and betel boxes (kun it). This Burmese lacquer box is typical of the style and has a base orange red colour and is decorated with finely etched black motifs including a kunan kanbyat pattern.
